DESCRIPTION:Marion County Public Schools will hold kindergarten registratio
 n Friday\, January 31 from 9:00-4:00 at each of the district’s four elem
 entary schools.\nParents of children who plan to enroll in MCPS kindergart
 en for the 2025-26 school year are asked to bring their child to the regis
 tration event along with their child’s birth certificate\, immunization 
 records\, physical exam\, dental exam\, eye exam and proof of residency (f
 or example\, a utility bill). No appointment is necessary.\nThe event will
  include a kindergarten-readiness screening.\nKindergarten is open for chi
 ldren who will be five years old on or before August 1\, 2025.\nParents sh
 ould attend registration at the school where their child will enroll. If p
