Every last full weekend in September, Lebanon, KY comes alive with Marion County Country Ham Days! This “Kentucky Top-Ten Event” is hosted by the Marion County Chamber of Commerce, along with local businesses and volunteers, welcoming over 30,000 visitors and empowering our community.
Since 1969, when it began with just six hams and a handful of volunteers, Ham Days has grown tremendously. Today, we serve over 2,000 pounds of country ham at our famous Country Ham Breakfast, with the help of hundreds of Marion County volunteers.
But Ham Days is more than a breakfast!
Numerous vendors sell a variety of foods for lunch and dinner in our Food Court areas. The Pokey Pig 5K Run/Walk attracts over 1,000 runners on Saturday morning, while the annual Pigasus Parade on Saturday afternoon features dignitaries, floats, marching bands, and more. A huge Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show draws over 250 vehicles on Sunday afternoon. Additionally, over a dozen hot-air balloons participate in a Balloon Glow on Saturday night and a Fly Over Lebanon on Sunday morning.
PLUS, other great activities include:
Carnival rides, an Antique Tractor Show, and Arts & Crafts Vendors add to the excitement. Commercial Vendors, a Kids Area with games, inflatables, and a petting zoo, great food, and free musical entertainment ensure there’s something for everyone.
So, come join us for a weekend full of delicious food, exciting entertainment, and family fun!
