It’s the hottest stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft tour and it’s in Lebanon, the Heart of Kentucky.
Limestone Branch Distillery.
It sits right in the middle of the Heart of Kentucky’s Marion County Trail, between Maker’s Mark (one of the hottest stops on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail), and Independent Stave Company’s Kentucky Cooperage, one of the hottest stops—pun intended—for visitors looking to enjoy the bourbon experience in Kentucky.
Brothers Steve and Paul Beam opened Limestone Branch Distillery in 2011.
Yes…Beam. The brothers’ lineage and heritage is embedded in Kentucky distilling history. That colorful history, and the fact the brothers restored the revered Yellowstone label back to esteemed status, are highlights of a tour at Limestone Branch Distillery.
During the tour you’ll learn about the history of the Beam and Dant families and the many generations of distillers on both sides. In 2015 the distillery launched the revival of Yellowstone bourbon and 2017 saw the introduction of Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey.
Since its opening in 2011 the distillery continued to grow and has now added a barrel warehouse and space for outdoor events, including weddings and reunions. The distillery also offers special events throughout the year.
Nowadays Limestone Branch Distillery has a fierce and diehard following, and it’s products are distributed worldwide.
The distillery houses a gift shop that includes Limestone branded merchandise and all of their distilled spirits for purchase.
