The annual Veterans Day ceremony will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the Lebanon National Cemetery beginning at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. The country will observe Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023 and state and federal buildings will be closed for business to honor the holiday, which falls on Saturday, Nov. 11.
This photo of the Marion County Honor Guard was taken a few years ago at Lebanon National Cemetery. Members of the local honor guard not only served their country but they now continue that service at funerals and events throughout the year.
