Here is a look at this week at MCPL! We have a busy week this week with events for all age ranges so be sure to check out what we have going on. We kick this week off with our October Monday Movie Nights at 6PM! We will be showing a series of movies featuring ghosts being busted. Who you gonna call to find out more? Call or message us and we can give you more information. The movie nights are for all ages, so bring the whole family down. Tuesday your elementary aged kids are welcome to join us at 3PM to learn how to play the Pokémon trading card game, and for ages 14+ we have our Fiber Arts Club at 5:30PM.
Wednesday we have another Thinking Money for Kids event where we will be playing Penny Pincher at 5PM. This will teach kids about saving money! This program is great for teaching kids some basic financial skills, and is for elementary ages. Thursday our rescheduled kids Pokémon Diamond Painting Craft at 11AM, also for elementary ages, as well as a Teen Craft where grades 7-12 can join us as we make Ghostbusters Perler Bead creations. On Friday elementary ages can join us again as we create Pokémon Terrariums at 4PM, so be sure to join us for this fun Pokémon challenge.
Finally be sure to stop by Saturday from 9AM-2PM to support our Friends of the Library with their Book & Bake sale! Get some good deals on books and some sweet treats from our Friends! As always, if you can’t make it to the Library, check out our Bookmobile schedule and see when the Library will be coming to you!
