Here is a look at this week at MCPL! To kick the week off we have a kids free play with Tangrams for elementary ages from 3-6PM, and Fiber Arts Club for ages 14+ at 5:30PM. Tuesday we have Toddler Tales at 10:30AM so be sure to bring those littles for a story and fun with Ms. Rachael. We will also have an Adult Ornament making craft at 5PM, and a Teen Fall Mosaic craft at 5PM.
Wednesday we kick things off with Chair Yoga at 10AM. Later that evening at 5PM we will have a Thinking Money for Kids program called Currency Conga for elementary ages. Our TM4K events are all thanks to a grant that we received that empowers our librarians to teach kids about financial literacy.
Thursday we have two meetings: at 4PM the Friends of the Library will be meeting, and at 4:15PM the Library Board will be meeting. If you would like to be involved in fundraising for the library we encourage you to check out the Friends of the Library, and if you want more information about how the library functions or what changes are happening with policy, budget, or events then we encourage you to sit in on the Library Board meeting. If you wish to address the board you will have to inform the Director 48 hours in advance to be placed on the agenda.
We will finish off the week with Kids Lego Free Play from 3-5PM on Friday. We also have the bookmobile schedule on this post. If you are unable to make it to the library, see when the library can come to you!
Have a good week!
