FRANKFORT, KY. —Sen. Jimmy Higdon has announced the schedule for his annual series of Legislative Coffee events and the 23rd Annual Josephine Nuckols Legislative Prayer Breakfast. These events allow constituents to hear updates, ask questions, and engage with Higdon and state representatives before the 2025 Legislative Session.
The Lebanon/Marion County Legislative Coffee will be at 8 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Centre Square—Angelic Hall, 239 North Spalding Avenue. Rep. Sarge Pollock will be featured, and the Lebanon/Marion County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event.
The 23rd Annual Josephine Nuckols Legislative Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, January 4. Breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. followed by a prayer service at 9 a.m. at Lebanon Methodist Church, 236 North Spalding Avenue. Brother Lee Watts will be the guest speaker. This gathering offers a meaningful opportunity to reflect and pray for guidance in the new year.
The Bardstown/Nelson County Legislative Coffee will be at 8 a.m. Monday, January 6, at the Fairfield Inn and Suites, 1070 Morton Avenue. Rep. Candy Massaroni will be featured, and the Nelson County Economic Development Agency is sponsoring the event.
The Taylorsville/Spencer County Legislative Coffee will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, at the Taylorsville/Spencer County Chamber Office, 19 East Main Street. Rep. James Allen Tipton will be featured, and the Spencer County-Taylorsville Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event.
The Larue County Legislative Coffee is scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday, January 13, at 58 Lincoln Square in Hodgenville. Rep. Ryan Bivens will be featured, and the Larue County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the event.
The Springfield/Washington County Legislative Coffee will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, at the Opera House, 124 West Main Street. Rep. Kim King will be featured, and the Springfield-Washington County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event.
The Marion County Farm Bureau Legislative Coffee is planned for 8 a.m. Saturday, January 25, at 690 Metts Drive in Lebanon. Rep. Sarge Pollock will be featured, and the Marion County Farm Bureau is sponsoring the event.
These events are open to the public, and all constituents are encouraged to attend. Higdon and his colleagues will be available for questions and to discuss legislative priorities and focus heading into the new legislative session.
