The Loretto Motherhouse will host a public forum for candidates running for Kentucky State Senate, District 14, from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 11, in the Conference Room of the Motherhouse Academy Building, 430 Academy Lane, Nerinx, Ky. All are welcome.
The forum is part of the Loretto Motherhouse Peace Committee’s “Countdown to 2026 Series,” which invites candidates for upcoming elections to share their perspectives with local residents. This is the fifth session in the forum series.
The two candidates for Kentucky State Senate, District 14, — Ben Mudd and Carrie
Gribbins Truitt — have confirmed their participation. District 14 covers five counties:
LaRue, Marion, Nelson, Spencer and Washington.
“We believe democracy is strengthened when people can hear directly from those
seeking to serve,” said Loretto Co-member Joyce Minkler of the Loretto Peace
Committee. “These conversations help build trust and understanding across our
community.”
