Marion County Country Ham Days 2023 events are officially underway today, Monday Sept. 18. Today you can catch the Champion Ham Judging beginning at 5 p.m. in the Farmers National Bank courtyard, in downtown Lebanon, the Heart of Kentucky. If you’ve never seen this done, it IS really cool. And this year there are upwards of 20 hams entered, so it’ll be big. Conducted by the Marion County Extension Service and Extension specialists, they make it fun, and will be more than glad to answer your questions like, “Just exactly what makes a champion ham better than the others?”
