Santa Claus is Coming to Loretto on Sunday, Dec. 18. He will be going from house to house on the fire engine with the Loretto Fire Department. Due to safety concerns for the public and the fire department members, this year Santa will be staying within the city limits of Loretto for his house to house visits. However, for the people who live outside the city limits of Loretto we will have designated locations for you to bring your children to visit with Santa Claus.
Santa will do his best to follow this schedule:
11 a.m. Cash Variety Store parking lot.
11:15 a.m. St. Francis Post Office parking lot.
11:45 p.m. Highway 52 from St. Francis to Spencer Hamilton Rd.
12 noon Spencer Hamilton Rd. to Leon Hamilton’s residence and back to red light.
12:15 p.m. Highway 52 to Maker’s Mark Rd. and back to Corner Food Mart.
12:30 p.m. West Marion Elementary parking lot.
1 p.m. Highway 49 from West Marion Elementary to Corner Food Mart.
1:15 p.m. Country View Estates.
1:45 p.m. Highway 49 from Country View Estates to the fire station.
Depending on the number of children who are waiting for Santa, He may be earlier or later than this schedule so keep your eyes and ears open as you’ll hear them coming.
