In honor of Native American Heritage Month, please join us on Tuesday, November 22nd at 6pm for a showing of “Words From a Bear”. This episode of PBS American Masters focuses on the life and work of Native American author N. Scott Momaday. Momaday’s book, “House Made of Dawn” won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction in 1969, making him the first Native American to win a Pulitzer. We would love for you to come join us in celebrating this integral work, which is considered to be the first major piece of the Native American Renaissance.
