The mission of United Concerned Citizens Organization Inc. (UCCO Inc.) is to assess the needs of our community, to establish community partnerships, and to provide programming and resources that empower adults and youth to lead happy and healthy lives. Our vision is to unite with our community partners to provide resources that improve the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, financial, educational, and relational wellbeing of individuals in our communities.
In 2002, Henry L. Bell Sr. founded United Concerned Citizens Organization, Inc. with his dream of ensuring that everyone has a meal on Thanksgiving Day. His dream became a reality with the support of family, friends and community partners. UCCO, Inc. has provided an average of 300 Thanksgiving meals annually in Marion County for over 20 years.
