Here is a look at this week at MCPL! Two of our events this week require registration: Kids Craft: Diamond Dog Bookmark, and Teen Anime Club. You can find the registrations for these events in our Weekly Newsletter which is pinned at the top of our page.
We also have COMICON this Saturday from 12-4PM! We are very excited to be doing this for the second time. You can find the link to the event page below and check out what sort of events we will have happening. We have some exciting guest appearances as well as vendors, food trucks, and other activities like a cosplay contest! Be sure to let us know you’re coming on the event page! There will be door prizes and other prizes offered so be sure to come check it out!

If you want to stay up-to-date on all things new and happening at your public library, all you need to do is sign up for our e-newsletter. It’s easy! Go to our website: www.marioncopublic.org and find the opt-in form on the right side of the screen, enter your email address, then look forward to weekly news to be delivered to your inbox. In addition to the weekly newsletter, we also use Facebook to make quick announcements such as library closures or modified hours due to winter weather. We are open every day but Sunday.

Remember some events do require pre registration and don’t forget there is now a Loretto branch of the Marion County Public Library.
