Here is a look at this week at MCPL! This is the last week of our slowdown month. Next week we will continue with regular events like Toddler Tales. This week we have some pretty good events though. Our Adult Readers Book Club will be meeting on the 27th at 5:30PM to discuss “The Safe Place” by Anna Downs. If you can’t make it to this meeting be sure to stop by and grab next months book “A is for Alabi” by Sue Grafton. We also have a Teen Craft and an Adult Craft this week. Teens will be making Homemade Bath Salts on the 29th at 4:30PM, and Adults will be making Pressed Flower Bookmarks at 6PM on the same day. We will also have New Pioneers here on the 29th at 6:30PM to present information about solar panels. Last but not least, if you are signed up for the Babysitting Class be sure to join us Friday Aug. 30th at 6PM.
If you can’t make it in to the library, our library comes to you! Check out the second image to see where our Bookmobile will be this week! Its the perfect opportunity to get your reading fix if you can’t make it in to see us. If you’re in the Loretto area remember we have expanded our Loretto Branch hours, so be sure to come by and see us!
