Here is your look at the week here at MCPL! As we go into August we would like to remind our patrons that August is our programming slowdown month. We will be using this month to plan for the rest of the year and the coming year, so there will be slightly less events than in other months. We also have a new schedule for Bookmobile Community Stops, so be sure to check that out and stop and see the Bookmobile! We are also expanding our hours at our Loretto Branch! Check out the graphic to see our new hours!
Our theme for the month of August is relaxation, so with that in mind Teens (grades 7-12) can join us for an hour of meditation on Tuesday at 4PM.
We will also have our Library Board Meeting this week on the 8th at 4:15PM. Anyone is welcome to sit in on the meeting, however if you wish to address the Board you must be added to the schedule 48 hours in advance, which you can do by scheduling with the Library Director.
Friday we will have a new event starting. We will be beginning Babysitting Classes which we will be doing with the Extension Office. Registration is required for this so be sure to check our Weekly Newsletter or coming posts for registration.
One of our most exciting events this week will be on Saturday at 11AM! We will have author Brittany Thurman here to do Storytime with us! We are so excited to have this author here and we just know this Storytime will be perfect for the whole family, so bring everyone down to the library and enjoy!
