Here is a look at this week at MCPL! We start the week off right with Bingo! If you missed it, don’t worry. Our next Bingo day will be Nov. 4th at 10:30 AM and will be Election Day themed! We also have “Young at Art” this evening at 5:30PM where ages 18+ can join us as we color and destress. Tuesday we will have Toddler Tales with Ms. Rachael at 10:30AM, so be sure to bring those kiddos by for some songs, stories and fun! At 1PM we will have an adult craft where we will be making very cute jam jar luminaries, so be sure to join us for that if you are 18+ years old. For elementary ages we will have a lesson in how to play the Pokémon card game at 4PM, and for ages 14+ we will have our Fiber Arts Club at 5:30PM. Whether you knit, crochet, cross stitch, or embroider, if you practice Fiber Arts, bring down your latest project and join us!
On Wednesday we will have Chair Yoga with the always excellent Susan Crum-Cox at 10AM. Later that day we will have Kids Pet Cents at 5PM, which is for elementary ages and will teach kids how to manage money through pet care. Thursday we have another Adult Craft where we will be making electric tea lights into cute little Jackolanterns. Friday we will have Cynthia Resor from the Kentucky Humanities Speakers Bauru who will be speaking about Mourning in the 1800’s at 1PM.
If your kiddos have been participating in our Pokemon events, be sure not to miss our Pokemon Celebration Friday at 6PM! And finally, Saturday the Teen Adventure Guild will be meeting at 10AM for D&D. If you have any questions about the schedule or any events please feel free to message or call us and ask! We hope to see y’all soon!
