We are excited to announce that the annual Loretto Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be November 22, 2025 at 12:00 pm. We’re cooking roughly 825 meals; turkey, mashed taters, dressing, gravy, green beans, a roll, and dessert. The dinner will be held again at Loretto City Hall for dine-in or carry-out. We’ll serve till we run out of food.
This meal is for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re the wealthiest, struggling, or you would like to take a meal to someone else. That is what this ministry is all about. This meal is to show the love of Jesus to all, for all to have dinner together in fellowship, and to let you know someone cares about you…especially Jesus. This is how Taste and See Ministry operates. We deliver meals to the physically hungry and spiritually hungry. To those whose bellies are empty or maybe feeling empty inside. To the lonely and those who just need someone to care about them. Most of all to show the love of Jesus and lead as many into salvation as possible to grow the Kingdom of God.
One of the greatest testimonies from last year was that the majority of the 544 to-go meals were being delivered to others. People were delivering anywhere from 1 to 15 meals to people that were on their hearts to do so for. God used each and every one who delivered a meal to operate this ministry! All glory to God! When we walk according to His will in ministry, He shows up and blesses it like only He can do!
Last year was an absolute success! No one was turned away! There was just enough to feed 614 people. This year we’ll be praying for everyone that comes and wants prayer. We’ll be praying for healing, encouragement, prosperity, and salvations. We’ll have Bibles, New Testaments, Kids Gospels, and other books for all who are spiritually hungry for God’s Living Word, and for those that want to
“Taste and See that the Lord is good!”
